What a way to start a new month: facedown on the couch all day with a migraine. (Well, not entirely face down. We had a productivity party last night, which was mostly great except for how the food we ordered took 2 hours to arrive, which I'm the opposite of thrilled about. I am so over ever having to deal with the DMV ever again, I swear to God. I've been trying all week to renew my license. Tuesday I went to the DMV downtown, wasted my entire lunch hour sitting there, and there were still at least 15 people just in my category to go and I had to go back to work. Fine, okay. Today has been a nice blend of productivity and floppings. I did the rest of the laundry, including the bathroom rugs, and made a giant batch of the curry chicken salad for our lunches this week (confirmed: my alterations to the recipe turn it from "pretty good" to "PUT MORE IN MY FACE IMMEDIATELY").
